Buying Agapanthus On Line

We have a selection of Agapanthus cultivars which are avalible to order online. The Agapanthus species will be found at the end of the list and also a small number of other plants that we offer will appear in alphbetical order. Once you have ordered your plants we will contact you by e-mail with shipping costs and details (also see Postage & Packing below).

The current payment methods are by sending a cheque or by submitting your credit card details over the phone or electronically. We also now offer online payment using PAYPAL. Please contact us for further information. Plants can be sent all year round, PLEASE NOTE however that we would prefer not to send out plants via mail order during the summer months as the plants are in their growing and flowering season. Any orders received from May through to September will be dealt with and dispatched in the Autumn. Alternatively you can collect plants from the nursery, or for large orders, we may be able to deliver your plants so please contact us first.

The best time for us to send plants through the post is during the winter and spring. We carefully pack individual plants to ensure that they arrive in excellent condition ready to plant out in the garden or have in pots for a wonderful summer display.

Order from the Catalogue
For a more comprehensive list and detailed dicription of all the plants grown at Pine Cottage, you can order a catalogue. In addition to the Agapanthus plants we also have a variety of hardy trees, shrubs and bulbs, some more rare and unusual. Plant Sizes
The majority of our plants are available in 2 litre size. However some are in 1 & 1.5 litre. We also stock quite a range in larger sizes to make good flowering specimens of the larger growing cultivars. These can be 3, 4, & 5 litre. The prices of these will reflect this increase. Please do enquire if you would like these larger plants.

Postage and packing
Our postage costs may seem high but this is because most plants sent out are already well established. The weight of an average box is usually around 10 kilos. Approximate costs are as follows and depend on the system of delivery:

Business Post
This is our preferred method of despatch.
Up to 10 Kilos at minimum cost of £8, very suitable for large parcels.

Royal Mail
A slower method of delivery but also suitable for smaller orders and young plants.

Overseas
Overseas deliveries at cost.
